The Tarangire, National Park in the South West of the Kilimanjaro, is the land of the big daddies : girafs, elephants, etc... Here the tsetse fly (genus Glossina)
carries the sleeping sickness, both to humans and cattle, so the Masai and their cattle stay away from it. It's quite and pure in the North, full of swamps in the middle and South. This park is a great appetizers for a safari. We had a lot of fun and got to know our driver Judah. We slept in the amazing camp of Mawe Ninga : spotted on rocks, the view on the rift from there is amazing. (chapter 3). Mawe Ninga's Camp is located inside the Tarangire Park.
