A day in Bucarest, or Bucharest as they say, the capital of Romania, July 07 BACK TO THE TRIPS HOMEPAGE

Romania is not a country I knew that well. It begins to be pretty far from France actually : 3 hours of plane, but what is more important, it's at the edge of Europe. That is to say I didn't know what to expect. What was my suprise to find a country so modernized, allmost like countries from western Europe, and with many people speaking perfect french !
Romanians are kind of like Slovakian or Tchek people : very nice, gentle, but not quite exhuberant. As well they like you to listen, so they'll offer you coffe very kindly and politely, but only once !! If you missed the info and ask for coffee they'll say : 'I asked you allready!'
Romania seems an amzing country for doing business and once again, coming back from north africa or eastern Europe, I keep on wondering : Whay going far east to do business when our closest neighbours are our best partners.
We should cultivate our gardens and help our neighbours have a nice garden as well before all,
with a lot of small step will the world become nicer, not with one big bombstep.
